Mustek releases new compact-designed GSmart 300 digital camera

Nov. 2000, -Taiwan- Mustek Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce a new addition to its current digital camera family, the GSmart 300. Enabled with 4MB resident memory, the GSmart 300 is a 350K pixel VGA resolution Digital Still Camera (DSC) that is not only compact in size but also versatile in function.

The GSm@rt 300 is an easy-to-use digital camera and is engineered with 640 x 480 pixel resolution and dual mode functionality. The compact, lightweight design measures just 90 (L) x 65 (W) x 32 (H) mm and weighs 120 g (without batteries). It easily fits in a briefcase, backpack or purse. With built-in 4MB internal flash memory, users are able to store up to 120 pictures in QVGA (320 x 240) resolution.

The USB interface provides an efficient way of transferring the captured image to your PC. The unique Bus Power design requires no battery power while connected to the computer so no power adapter is needed. The alkaline battery support allows the user to purchase batteries just about anywhere. And with only 2 batteries supporting up to 600 shots, the GSmart 300 conserves power better than other digital cameras currently available.
