NOTE:

File Access Extension.
- Click on the Apple menu.
- Select Control Panels.
- Select the Extensions Manager.
- Verify that there is a check in
front of the Foreign File Access extension. If there is, then
close the Extensions Manager and proceed with installation,
otherwise:
- Click Foreign File Access to
place a check by that extension.
- Close the Extensions Manager.
- Click on the Special menu and
select Restart. The Macintosh will reboot and you can then
begin installation.
Steps for Installing The
Scanner Solutions CD.
- Open the CD drive and place the
Scanner Solutions disc on the tray. Close the CD drive.
- When the CD icon appears,
double-click to open it.
- Double-click the SetupMAC icon.
- At the "Welcome"
screen, click on "Continue."
- When the "Installer"
screen comes up, click on "Continue."
- At the "Easy Install"
screen, click on "Install."
- The program will remind you that
it will restart after installation and prompt you to close all
running applications by clicking "Continue." Click
"Continue."
- After the installation is
finished it will prompt you to restart the Macintosh. Click
"Restart" to do so. You can click
"Continue," but your scanner software will not work
until after the Macintosh has been restarted.
- Once the Macintosh has
restarted, you can drag the CD icon to the trash to eject the
disc.
